Short and Sweet: We guarantee that your gift card is as advertised when you bought it for One Hundred (100) days from the date of purchase. If there is any problem with your gift card during this time, we will work to identify and fix the issue as quickly as possible. In the [very] rare case we cannot fix your gift card, we will happily provide a replacement or issue you a complete refund to your original form of payment.

It's more than a guarantee. It's a promise we've kept since we opened for business in February 2015; to stand behind every gift card we sell, so you can shop with confidence.


For 100 Days from the date of purchase, we cover:

  • Cards that are inactive.
  • Cards with an incorrect balance.
  • Cards delivered as a different brand than ordered.
  • Physical Cards not received within 15 Days from the date of purchase.

We do not cover:

  • Requests received after 100 days.
  • Buyer's Remorse.
  • Cards lost or misplaced.
  • Accidental purchase of incorrect brand/merchant.
  • Misinterpretation of how a particular card is redeemed.
  • Cards that are no longer honored when a merchant goes out of business or files for bankruptcy on or after the date of purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions about “Our Guarantee”


Q: You approved my refund request for physical gift cards that I received in the mail, will I have to pay to ship the card(s) back to you?

A: No. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to ship the gift cards back to us for free. Just make sure you drop the package off at the post-office within 5 business days of receiving the prepaid label. 


Q: It’s a little bit past 100 days from when I bought the gift card and the card doesn’t work, is there anything you can do?

A: We promise to make a good faith effort to rectify your problematic gift card. Though we can’t make any guarantees, if our Loss Prevention team determines that your gift card encountered an issue within One Hundred (100) days of your purchase, we will provide a replacement or issue you a refund.


Q: I bought the wrong gift card, can I return it?

A: Maybe. If you purchased a "Physical" card that you received in the mail, please fill out a support ticket here. "Electronic" gift cards that are delivered by email or to your GiftCard Mart account are not returnable/refundable. If we accept your "Physical" gift card return, you will be issued a refund to the original form of payment, less a $1.00 shipping and handling fee per card returned.


Q: I no longer want the gift card(s) that I purchased, can I return it?

A: Maybe. So-called "buyer's remorse" return requests will be handled on a case by case basis. If you purchased a "Physical" card that you received in the mail, please fill out a support ticket here. "Electronic" gift cards that are delivered by email or to your GiftCard Mart account are not returnable/refundable. If we accept your "Physical" gift card return, you will be issued a refund to the original form of payment, less a $1.00 shipping and handling fee per card returned.
