Q. I bought the wrong card, can I return it?
A. Only if you purchased a physical card. Electronic cards are not eligible for refunds. Please contact us at (888) 733-4401 or support@giftcardmart.com so that we can determine if your physical card purchase is eligible for a refund. I
f we agree to accept your return, you will be responsible for paying any applicable return shipping & handling costs. We strongly suggest using a shipping service that offers delivery confirmation and/or tracking, like United States Postal Service Priority Mail.

Q. I just purchased an electronic gift card, how long does it take to be delivered?
A. Unless you are a first time customer, virtually all orders placed during our regular business hours are delivered within 1 minute.

If you are a first time customer, you will receive an email notification from us notifying you that we need to complete an initial order verification/customer authentication with you over the phone, and you will need to call us at (888) 733-4401 so we can verify your account and finish processing your order.

Please note: All electronically delivered gift cards are not returnable/refundable.




Q. How long will a refund take? 
A. Once we approve your refund request, we will send your refund same day and you will receive a refund confirmation from PayPal within 24 hours, though normally it will only take a few minutes. Depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 7 days for the funds to be returned to your original form of payment.

If you do not receive your refund after 1 week, please file a Help Desk ticket and we will promptly investigate the delay.




Q. I'm already PayPal verified, why do I need to verify something else with you?
A. In this day and age, cyber security has become a constant tug-of-war battle between honest people and cyber criminals that seek to steal your personal and financial information. After witnessing a cyber criminal purchase stolen Verified PayPal accounts during a cybersecurity expo in 2015, we decided to adopt more stringent anti-fraud practices to ensure the integrity of our exchange.

As a result, we implemented our current policy requiring all customers to be both 100% Authenticated and Verified prior to processing any orders.

We understand that this can create a minor speedbump in getting your cards quickly; however, we hope you understand that we adhere to industry best practices to ensure the safety of both GiftCard Mart and all of our great customers, like you!



Q. What do I have to do for my authentication?
A. We utilize what is known as Knowledge Based Authentication, or KBA for short. KBA is a security measure that seeks to prove that a person providing us with identity information truly is that same person by asking a few person-specific questions that only you would know.

Q. Will my gift card expire?
A. Never! Due to the CARD Act of 2009 we don’t accept cards with expiration dates.

Though, we strongly encourage users to keep the wheels of commerce moving and use your cards within 60 days of purchase!




Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We currently process all payments via PayPal, so you can use any major credit card!




Q. Why do I need to verify my order over the phone?
A. Trust is our number one priority and is a two-way street, so we occasionally use phone verification to clarify a few details about your purchase to ensure transactional integrity and to build stronger relationships with you, our customers. The result: better service.

Pro-Tip: Bulk buyers and bulk sellers will be assigned an account manager that is available for (almost) anything you can think of. 




Q. How long will shipping take?
A. If you purchased a physical card, we will ship via USPS. Depending upon your location, you can expect your card(s) within 3-7 business days, but can occasionally take up to 10 business days. We are located centrally in Minnesota so wherever you are, you can expect speedy delivery. 




Q. Do you charge for shipping?
A. GiftCard Mart offers FREE SHIPPING for all physical card purchases!




Q. What if I want to buy lots and lots of cards?!
A. We're glad you do! If you are purchasing more than $1,000 in cards per order, or over $5,000 in cards per month, we ask that you please contact our bulk orders department so we can workout a special deal, just for you!




Q. Can I purchase cards if I do not live in the United States of America?
A. Maybe... Thanks to more favorable U.S. regulations, as of mid-August 2018, we have begun to explore working with Non-U.S. based customers on a limited, test basis. If you are located outside of the United States and are interested in purchasing Gift Cards from us, please contact us via the Help Desk. But there are some very important things you should know:

1. We only sell gift cards loaded with U.S. Dollar balances.
2. At this time, you may only pay PayPal and you use your PayPal balance as the funding source. Payments funded with a Debit/Credit Card or Bank Account will be cancelled.
3. PayPal charges us an additional 1.5% "Cross-Border" Fee for all payment received from Non-U.S. PayPal accounts, so unfortunately, we must reduce discounts by 1.5% for international customers. If you live in a country where you can pay with PayPal's MassPay, you may use this payment method to avoid the 1.5% international customer surcharge.
